Ashlea Belcher, Multidisciplinary Team Program Specialist
Ashlea Belcher joined the Missouri Network Against Child Abuse (MO-NACA) as the Multidisciplinary Team (MDT) Program Specialist in October 2024. In this role, she is dedicated to overseeing the MDT Enhancement Initiative and supporting child advocacy center staff and MDT members to strengthen Missouri’s statewide response to child abuse and neglect.
Ashlea holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology with an emphasis in legal issues from Pittsburg State University in Kansas. With over a decade of experience in child protection, she began her career as a Foster Care Case Manager and spent the last eight years at a child advocacy center, where she served as a Forensic Interviewer, Child Advocate, Case Review/Training Coordinator, and Commercial Sexual Exploitation of Children (CSEC) Coordinator. Through her extensive work in the field, Ashlea has come to understand the critical role MDTs play in the justice and healing processes for our most vulnerable populations.
Residing in Joplin, Missouri, Ashlea enjoys spending time with her husband, five children, and dogs. In her free time, she loves playing golf, attending rock concerts, and traveling.
