Multi-Disciplinary Team Trainings

Medical Forensics Trainings

The Missouri SAFE-CARE Network, a program of the Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services, provides medical-forensic training on child physical and sexual abuse and neglect to medical providers, Children’s Division employees, and other child and family centered organizations throughout Missouri. In 2016, Missouri passed legislation (HB 1877) that codified elements of collaboration between the SAFE-CARE Network and Missouri Children’s Division. All SAFE-CARE Medical Forensics trainings are free of charge to attendees.  MDT members of all experience levels and other child abuse investigators are invited to utilize these trainings.
